SHELTERED BY GOD


He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord,
“He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”1

Because I have made the Lord,
Who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, my dwelling place.
No evil shall befall me,
Nor shall any plague come near my dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over me,
To keep me in all my ways.2

For You have been my refuge,
A strong tower against the foe.
I long to dwell in Your tent forever
And take refuge in the shelter of your wings.3

I lift up my eyes to the hills
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
The Maker of heaven and earth.
The Lord watches over me
The Lord is my shade at my right hand.4
